Welcome to the Vivid Sydney 2021 Volunteer Expression of Interest Form

Each year, hundreds of people from diverse backgrounds come together to experience and participate in the Vivid Sydney Volunteer Program.

If you're interested in being a volunteer with Vivid Sydney (6 - 28 August 2021), we encourage you to complete this Expression of Interest Form. By completing this form, you will be one of the first notified of the official registration process for 2021.

Vivid Sydney is the southern hemisphere’s largest festival of light, music and ideas and the largest event in Australia. It is home to a spectacular outdoor gallery of sculptures and lighting projections illuminating the city's iconic landmarks, a cutting-edge contemporary music program and some of the world's most important creative industry forums.

A number of voluntary positions are available for the duration of Vivid Sydney, including Festival Information / Ambassadors, Wayfinding & Directional Volunteers, Installation Activity Assistants, Team Leaders and Accessibility Information Ambassadors.

Vivid Sydney has once again engaged I Need Helpers, a specialist agency with over 10 years of experience in major event volunteer programs, to oversee the 2021 Vivid Sydney volunteer program.

COVIDSafe Volunteering:
Need Helpers is working closely with government agencies to ensure the volunteer program continues to be compliant with all COVIDSafe requirements. Please be mindful that there are changes to the volunteer program in response to COVIDSafe guidelines.

Important: Please note that volunteers may be required to obtain a NSW Working with Children's Check (WWCC) in order to fulfil their duties. Volunteer Working with Children Checks are free within New South Wales; however, you will be required to complete an application with the Office of the Children's Guardian NSW. We highly recommend applying for one if you haven't yet as it will support your application and strengthen your profile on INH Opportunities for future volunteering activities within New South Wales.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with Need Helpers via INH Mail or in the office on 02 8417 1050.
